Visionary surrealism in watercolor is the language I use to imagine a more conscious reality, where human beings, nature, animals and cities are no longer separate but part of the same living whole.
From classic surrealism to visionary imagery
Classic surrealism explored the unconscious, dreams and the hidden side of the mind, often breaking logic to reveal what lies beneath rational control. In my work, I also use images that do not belong to everyday reality, but I focus on another territory: the possibility of a future where we remember our deep connection with everything that surrounds us.
Visionary surrealism in watercolor does not aim to escape from the world, but to expand the way we look at it. Trees, roots, mountains, water, birds and urban architecture become part of a single story where the human figure and nature are interwoven. My paintings propose not only what we are, but what we could become when we recognize ourselves as part of a larger, conscious landscape.
About Me
I am a watercolor artist based in Madrid, and painting is my way of listening to the world. I use detailed realism and symbolic transformation to imagine a more conscious reality, where human figures, trees, birds and cityscapes weave together into one story about belonging, care for nature and our relationship with the places we inhabit.

Faces emerging from branches
Over the years I have developed a personal way of painting in which faces can appear from branches, nests, roots or rivers, and architectural forms embrace the figure instead of acting as a mere background. These elements do not work as decoration; they are visual statements about unity, belonging and the responsibility we have towards the world we inhabit.
The female figure
In many of my works, the female figure becomes the point where different realities meet. A single portrait can hold traces of trees, water, animals or streets, inviting the viewer to read the image not only as a likeness, but as a symbolic map of our connection with everything around us.
A more conscious reality

Through watercolor, I imagine a reality in which human beings and nature are no longer separate, but part of the same living whole. In Soy árbol, the female figure becomes both presence and landscape, suggesting a deep connection between inner life, memory and the natural world. Rather than escaping reality, this vision seeks to expand it, inviting us to imagine a more conscious way of inhabiting the world around us.
