Watercolor and the Imagined World

My work unfolds in its own territory: my oneiric and symbolic universe. An imagined world that takes shape through visionary watercolor art. In it, the human figure, nature, and organic structures appear as parts of a single presence. The face becomes part of the landscape, forms interweave, and the image is organized as one body, where everything coexists within the same reality.

Watercolor allows this imagined world to open gently. Color expands and creates atmospheres, draws paths that connect one form to another, and establishes links between the different elements of the image. Transparencies, layers,, and subtle shifts build a balance that can be felt throughout: the painting becomes a space where the image finds its own rhythm.

The Symbolic in the Image

In this universe, the symbolic occupies a central place. The elements that appear are not isolated figures, but parts of a visual language that unfolds painting by painting. A face emerging among branches, a mountain blending with the skin, roots that recall nerves or inner pathways: each form participates in an open meaning that does not close into a single interpretation and is perceived through the gaze.

A Single Visual Universe

Each work belongs to this same imagined world in watercolor. The images not only show but also offer a visual experience grounded in the relationship between presence, form, and atmosphere. The repetition and variation of certain motifs – the face, nature, organic structures, the paths of color – build a language that is recognizable throughout the work and gives the whole continuity.

As a watercolor artist with a visual language of my own, I always work within this oneiric and symbolic universe. Painting presents itself as a territory that invites you to wander: the gaze can rest on the details, follow the thread of a line, lose itself in the transitions of color, or contemplate the whole as a single scene. Each level of reading expands the perception of this universe and allows you to enter it from different places.

A Space for Contemplation

This blog gathers fragments of that world. It is a space where watercolor unfolds as visual language and where each text accompanies the images from within that same universe. Here, painting is presented as a place where form, symbol, and presence interweave in the same direction.

An imagined world in watercolor, open to anyone who wishes to enter.
