CONNECTED SOULS

This series explores the profound presence that unites humans with the animal world, revealing a connection that keeps the bond between both in balance.

The animals that emerge in the series are manifestations of a force that exists within us. They are vibrations that dialogue with humans and complete their presence.

“Connected Souls” invites us to contemplate that shared force that binds all forms of life.

Art found me before I sought it out, and it gradually took hold of me until I reached a point where I couldn't imagine my life without it. It was like a call I couldn't ignore.

Cuesta’s genius lies in her ability to transcend traditional boundaries of representation. Her use of delicate yet precise lines draws attention to the remarkable detail in both the facial expression of the woman and the intricacies of the statues above her. The way she balances hyperrealism with a dream-like surrealism creates a tension that pulls the viewer deeper into the work. This technique is indicative of Cuesta's unparalleled mastery of form and her innovative approach to narrative composition in visual art.
